Insurance is where the industry hides most of its worst behavior. Bad products. Bad pricing. Bad advice. We've built our practice on the opposite. And one of the most common things we do for new clients is unwind a policy somebody else sold them that they never should have bought.
Coverage we advise on.
- Term & permanent life insurance: most families need term. Some don't need anything at all.
- Disability income protection: usually more important than life insurance for working-age clients.
- Annuity income strategies: selectively, for the right situations. Almost never as a stand-alone product.
- Group insurance & benefits: coordinating what your employer offers with what you actually need.
How we think about coverage.
The right amount of insurance is the smallest amount that covers the actual financial risk to your family. Anything beyond that is somebody selling you something you don't need.
If someone shows you an insurance illustration that looks too good to be true, it is. Bring it to us before you sign.Tony Burton
